First of all I'd ditch the variable dilution hydroforce because the mechanism is so primitive you haven't got a clue what ratio it's actually diluting at

I put 12 heaped scoops in a 4 litre container, which I think is about standard.
I have never been able to work out why they recommend different dilution rates for pressure spray/hydroforce

Recommended dilution works out at 3 scoops per litre in a hydroforce container. That mix is then further diluted at 1:9, so it works out you have got 1 scoop in every 27 litres of solution that comes out.
So why does it need to be 27 times stronger from a pressure sprayer?

All I can say is that when I use it, it does the job
