So you are draining tank? And flushing at the same time? When you flush there shouldn't be any water going into the tank

for new systems they have to be flushed for at least 2hrs then you should be ok

yes it was all ready for use it was partly filled tds was 0 i filled it up then tds was 53 partialy drained tds is now 6 but it sounds itmay need more flushing

I had all sorts of problems with my second hand filters when i went wfp earlier in the year but youll soon get your head round it mate! i had a lot of good advice from this forum as well so persevere!
