anybody know the weight of say 100 litres of pure water? I need to calculate how much water i can carry in an estate car. Thanks.

yes dont try and weigh it on the wifes kitchen scales.      also the higher your tds the heavier the water . so you are better off purifying water then into van . rather than purifying as you work . you could probably carry an extra 100 litres in a decent sized van

If you have 1 kilo of pure water
its going to weigh the same as 1 kilo of tap water :

no the tap water will always be heavier than pure water cos its still got the lead in it
