yep it tastes great with a drop of whisky .dont know about bubbles , but if you fill up with hot pure water that is even lighter . as the water is evaporating nearly as fast as you are filling your tank , that is why it takes longer to fill ,and carries on evaporating as you drive . thats why i always put an extra 100 litres in if im using hot . but im still not overweight as its lighter than cold . hope this makes sense

the manual for my estate reckons I can put 500 litres of pure water plus myself and gear into the astra estate. dont fancy driving it with that much in it!

yes but remember this is normal tap water , you will easy do it with pure water . plus i think most estates are allowed an extra 100 kilos on the roof

For those who have said how much they can carry there are other weight factors you need to take into consideration with regards to your SWL.


The plate on your vehicle wont have allowed for fuel, a full tank can ne approx 60Kg, air-conditioning (have you got that in your vehicle, it wont be included in your SWL and they are weighty articles), reels 35kG?, battery 10Kg?, toolbox 5Kg?, your workmate 90Kg?, ladders and rack 30Kg?.

Its easy to go over the weight limit without blinking an eye.
