Can hot water spot more than cold?
« on: December 23, 2010, 10:23:37 pm »
I read on the other thread that hot water spots more than cold.  Is this true?  What proof of this is there?

Its like saying trad cleaning attracts more electronic particles from the atmosphere which is why the windows dont stay clean for so long as WFP.

They may not stay clean for so long but Id love to know the window-cleaner that discovered it was due to the charge of the electronic particles. More bollox to be honest

It’s not true,

Pure water won’t leave spotting regardless of the temperature

Simple explanation without the detail

You should be able to clean a large pane of glass in 2-3 seconds spot free, I know if I use heated water I have to make doubly sure all the contaminated water has also been removed from the glass by rinsing thoroughly, heated water dissolve dirt better and the heated water stays on the glass. (Work it out)

The other consideration is how dirty the window is and the type of dirt.

So if you try to clean as fast with heated water as you would with cold water you will get spotting, when doing regular work. This does depend on a number of things other than the type of work.

Cozy reckons you're a trolley pusher, I disagree with him, though we do both agree you talk utter drivel with no sense whatsoever.

I reckon you're a piano tuner.

If two windows are identical size/dirt and you wash one with hot and one with cold in exactly the same way, then why would one spot, genius pro?

Yeah it called the dirt you are removing

Are you supposed to be window cleaner?

Bollox is saying if I clean a big house I earn more

Blind leading the blind, simples lol

Ten £10 houses or one £100 house. i know what i'd rather do. If the time on the glass was identical then you still have to get out your gear, put it away,do some driving inbetween. More collecting, invoicing etc. Twat

Dislodge the dirt and don't rinse properly and you will get spots regardless of temp.

Don't normally jump on the bandwagon but can somebody please put a really explosive Christmas cracker in Ewans stocking.

Merry Xmas one and all - the one

Making money is hard winproclean, as much as you like to make out you’re a success, your not and you hold others back

You have no idea

Why do you think people buy ionic systems winproclean?

This is a really easy question, but you’ll struggle to answer that correctly

I ain't wasting my breath, you've proved you have zero knowledge Ewan & it's a shame for the forum that you are allowed to continue your agenda of intentional damage just for the sake of it!

You just poison threads & confuse newbies, all for the sake of trying to look clever.

You are in fact, anything but clever & not one bit funny either. ::)

Again, it's a real shame for the forum. ::)
