Peter I like to keep an open mind, so can you explain why you think hot water cleans quicker for regular work, I’m guessing it uses less water because you think it is quicker.

I agree if the winters are going to cause more delays than previous years having a heated system makes it much easier to justify and get the return on the cost.

The results can be the same cleaning with cold or hot, but the time difference favours cold for regular work, that’s without question. Try to keep up the pace when using a hot system against a cold system and your results with suffer.

Not in the winter though.

To all those with hot WFP how much quicker on average would you say it is compared with cold.
Apart from being able to work in lower temperatures would you say it is worth the investment.

It not quicker on regular maintenance cleans, that’s then marketing working from the manufacturers for you to assume that.

Heated water can be quicker on first cleans, but not always and it’s also useful to have for certain types of dirt, but you can use a detergent with cold water which is better than heated water alone anyway.

Look at the cleaning cycles on your washing machine, some won’t even use warm water, but they will use a detergent.
Depending on how you use heated water the question could also be how much longer does it take to clean.

Well Ewan, I have been telling people that for years and just recently have been corrected by two separate customers.  These two customers had my Hotwash trolley out on trial and both had not heard any marketing bumf that it was supposed to be quicker or use less water, but that was what both of them reported back, along with the hoses been easier to manage.  Do you use hot water yourself?  If so I am interested in the detergents you use, what are they?

The reason it is quicker is because you will have far more confidence when you`ve cleaned a window and walked away from it in the fact that over time you`ll begin to realise that all that scrubbing in the past you used to do with cold was not needed,so why will you be quicker you`ll be quicker cos a couple of scrubbs on the glass with the brush on and you`ll know it`s clean.You cannot compare a cold system to a hot 1,when your using hot and i mean hot water the difference is massive on any type of work.
