Little women flu ???
Never had it myself....a slight sniffle and I take to me bed. ;D

Maybe when you quote your custies, you ought to give them advise on how to eat and stay healthy :-*

Some customers will use any excuse to cancel this time of year, sometimes will not answer door when you arrive etc, rather than just saying cant afford it with xmas, happens few times every year without fail, espacially people that booked weeks ago

never had someone not open the door yet, fingers crossed it never happens.
all 4 that cancelled cos of flu have rebooked so its not like ive lost out and i'm never fully booked so theres always a space.

had someone call me to cancel when i was outside the front door, i knocked anyway and told them put the kettle on, its the least they could do. they rebooked and i did the job. ;D

22 years of cleaning carpets and you still get cancellations some even same day, I never got them 22 years ago it's more of todays people (that makes me feel old)

This is the time of year when people get the chance to get their carpets cleaned and then get cold feet and think that they need the money for something else or the weather puts them off or they get asked to an Xmas party it's called buyers remorse, I've had 2 this week luckily I filled them back up but it does mess with your diary planning.

Ive had the one customer rebook 3 times now, and she just phoned and cancelled again!

On the other hand I went out and did a quote for a customer and she called today again asking for a price for just the one carpet as if she was a new customer!

its tough times for some customers, I think next year will be harder.

Hi Guys

I get very few cancellations but 4 in past 6 days which is not good.

Just have to roll with it but it does mess up my diary.

Cheers

I'd consider that quite a result :o
I've had a couple over the years that have done it at 8am, literally as I'm getting myself together ready to set off. Now that sort really pee me off. >:(

As for flu, a real flu makes you bedbound where you can hardly get out of bed, anything else is a cold. So I would excuse people who have 'real flu.'
