Hi Andrew is it the Sidekick 6100 I got my eye on the 9100LX.
I'm being totally honest here If the right package comes along I might just go for it, but I want a mid range one if I can get one. What do you want for it?
Pictures,
history ( or service receipts ) Thanks Wynne & Will

Not forgetting about the weight factors. (Thanks Dave)

The reason I'm on the forums is to seek advise off people who can give you different views and sometimes very helpful info.
Thanks again guys.
Keep the infomation flowing.

Cheers Keith

No in my owners manual is says Front Axle 1400 kg (3086 lbs)
Rear Axle 1760 kg (3880 lbs)
GVM 2750 Kgs ( 6063 Lbs)

I don't think I should have a problem do you? ???

But I will keep my eye on it now ;)

For their size Hiaces have good maximum weights.

If you want to be safe I'd go for the lighter slide ins like the Panther/Woodbridge range or Prochem Blazer type, or the new Pheonix which seems to fit this bill.
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

Keith, the figure you need is the payload, that's what's left when you take the weight of the van, driver, passenger and fuel away from the GVW. I've never known a Hiace to be legal with a TM fitted. Dave Ingram had only a Boxxer 421 in one and paid the penalty(literally)!
