My Trafic clutch went around 75000 miles and cost a bit over £600 to replace.  I think there's a cylinder or something like that which they replace when they get in there.  Cant recall the details now.

i kid you not ,they are a long job. and yes ,normally it pays to change that slave cylinder which sits next to the clutch at the same time.otherwise u may be pulling it all apart again soon!   i did 21years on the spanners and if anybody rang up with wanting a clutch doing on any french motor  my heart sank.

My 03 vivaro clutch was fitted the other day, £650 fitted think it's quoted as a 7 hour job so most of it is labour, if you can find a mechanic with a lower hourly rate it would be cheaper.

Yes I went to Mr Clutch too.
Less than a mile down the road after collecting it, the vehicle lost power and I limped it back at a maximum speed of 20 MPH.  Turned they had forgotten to sort out something on the engine management or something (I'm no mechanic so I have to take their word for things).  So I left again and although it was pulling OK, it was very noisy so I returned.  "Nothing wrong" they told me.  Well I know it didn't sound like that before.  Anyway, the next day I started to inspect a bit more closely to see it there was anything obvious and silly.  It turned out that the rubber cup at the base of the pedal support hadn't been tucked in properly and the noise was coming through.  And there I was thinking that they may have accidentally damaged the exhaust and didn't want to own up  :)  .  Glad I kept my gob shut until I had a closer look.  Still, they should have replaced the cup properly but at least it was a 5 second job and no problem.
