i think my older vivaro has a clutch on the way out. anyone know how much it will be to get fixed?

its the only thing iv not replaced on my trafic

05. i think its the labour thats gonna be bad. think they have to take the gear box off to get to it. don't quote me on that though. its only what i heard

steve any mechanic worth is salt
should do a full clutch in half a day m8
so prob only 2 ton labour m8 at 50 quid an hour

only recently had my trafic rebuilt

touch wood mine have been reliable. my newer one is much better than the older one though. i know the clutches go around 70k and my older one has about 71k now

sweet, i'll get some advice from a mechanic about cost and if need be i'll have a gander on there if they are much cheaper

they get dearer for the 2.0i m8 but most
vivaros r 1.9dci so you shud be ok
and some change on the 06 onwards but when u buy
just give em yr reg number and
they can tell you if its the one you need
tbh your as well replacing the full clutch
instead of just trying get away with a pressure
plate

i used to be a mechanic and a vivaro clutch is like all renaults,a real long  knuckle skinning job

what model is your vivaro most are 1.9dci
(engine size ) clutches fr 00 to 05 seem to be reasonable
for these vivaro also do a 2.0l which makes clutch dearer
