Superlite brush is okay, but can be better. The problem is that I believe off the top of my head that over the years there were atleast 3 different revisions of the dual trim mono alone. I think I'm using a mark 2, and it requires too much force for it to splay, it's a dual trim, but the inner bristles do not touch the glass during normal use. The mark 1 was quite nice, but wasn't too powerful for anything beyond regular cleans.
I haven't tried the latest version of it.
Like the others said, sea-side cleans can be a pain (even though I live nowhere near the sea), needs more work.
Vikans might be good brushes but in my opinion it's totally pointless to have a heavy weight brush on an everyday pole. Defeats the purpose of even having a carbonfibre (or other lightweight) pole. You want to go lighter, less fatique in a day to work faster, yet a brick is put on the end of the pole. Doesn't make sense to me. Only brush I used was a mono rectangular Vikan, and found it pretty horrible.
The brushes I'm dying to try out now and will get some over the next month is a dt 9" Tucker, an Aerial brush, and the new superlight extreme brush by gardiners next month. See what's best and still lightweight.
