Cups of tea

Done 16 houses today (all trad none of that nanby pampy WFP)

Unusually nearly all custies were in but not 1 miserable git offered me a tea or coffee all day  :(

Need to get them better trained  ;D

I have a nice box of Earl gray in the van so when a custy offers me a cuppa I give them one of mine,   you just cant beat a nice cup pf the gray stuff  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

4 cups @ 5 mins per cup = 20 mins downtime. + 5 mins extra leak break.  Total time lost 25 mins

+ Wages

Total cost £10 - £25 (area depending)  That’s why I tell all my customers to NEVER offer my lads a drink, or even to talk or acknowledge they are there....... except to pay them  ;D

We didn't get offered a cuppa til we cleaned our first pub of the day, at about 1pm. Was offered a pint but declined :)

I only accept a drink if they offer as soon as i start the job but they usually ask about a minute before i finish.
WE CLEAN BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT WITH WATER FED POLE WHEN WORKING AT HEIGHT.

same here!some of you guys are miserable gits!if im pushed for time ill clean another house and come back when its nearly cold!gulp it down and carry on working!sometimes a 5 min chat is good!i usually chat while im working though unless im only doing half a day then i could go on for 15 mins!! ;D ;D ;D ;D
