our list price is £55 if it doesnt have a conservatory.
The best way to predict the future is to create it.

don't understand how you can big it up because of method. Yes if you are doing heights that a ladder can't reach safely but not on a standard 3 bed ist floor property

Depending on how much guttering there is, £48 - £65
The pen is mightier than the sword (and a lot easier to write with!)

Would you pay a carpet cleaner with a sponge and a bucket as much as one who uses a bespoke carpet extraction machine????

Think from the potential customer point of view, they want a clean gutter, if two turn up to quote the guy with a ladder puts a price in, and the gutter vac puts a price in, the customer does not care what method is used. the scenario changes when it involves 2nd floor work etc as you on the whole will competing with roofers who will need to use scaffold or cherry pickers so then your prices can rise,

Did anybody increase their prices just because they bought a water fed pole system ??? I don't think they did even though they have a bespoke window cleaning system, however they probably targeted work that was unsafe to the average ladder worker and charged accordingly.

Yes, the end result would be a clean carpet, so the price should be the same.
Any way, what has cleaning carpets got to do with cleaning gutters.  ;D
I can remember when waking up stiff in the morning was a good thing.

Dont know about you guys but im quoting blind (not surveying first) i do have a cam to inspect after. just dont want to put the customer off if there isnt much up there, this way if there isnt i win and get a better rate and if there is a tonn of muck up there its my problem. dont fancy charging for surveys and sure as hell dont want to waste time surveying for a no thanks.

For gutter cleaning I just price per foot. Keeps it simple.

thinking along the same lines Dan but was going to offer a survey at £19.99
and if it needs doing knocking it off the clean price so in effect they get a free survey , and if it don't need doing i've done a survey for just under £20 quid  ;D

Thought of that too Andy but could be entering take the p@@@ territory because you could literally do a survey of a small house in 2 minutes unless you absolutely milk it. However if they insist on survey first i
will chargeif there is no work to come from it. had a little black book running for about the last month making sure i had the work to justify buying a guttervac got just under a grands worth of work to get stuck into already and havent really asked that many customers yet. looking forward to getting started, been practising on my own and mates gutters.

No I would not pay a carpet cleaner with a bucket and sponge as much, But I would pay extra for someone to clean my gutters by hand as I think they would make a better job
