Hi Matt
Depends what Im selling.
PAT electrical testing, quick call, people know what your ringing about, can do prob 25 an hour for something like that.
But if I were doing delegate sales, it would take longer because you have to explain in more details what you are calling about
Your calls should be pretty straight forward, if its care homes, the manager. The only problem with this is that you dont have a name - always best to have a name when you are cold calling. Some places operate a "no name policy", so wont put you through if you dont have a name. But I dont think it will be too hard. Its just you have to bear in mind how many sales calls these homes get a day trying to sell different things to them. Food, work wear, linen services, etc etc. Your main selling point is going to be price, please correct me if I am wrong. But what your after is the opportunity to quote
Do you need an appointment for what you want to do, or can you just price a job up and then send the details without them being present?
Hope that helps
