Dropping customers
« on: July 15, 2010, 05:43:26 pm »
Have been going a while now, have a nice round which has plenty of work combined with plenty of time off...

Just been through my 'players' list and made the decision to dump half a dozen customers. Despite them being a PITA,  I still regret losing money/custom...

Do you have good head/bad head moments when you have to do this?

Cheers
Dave.

I do all them type of calls, ... when / if i ever catch up and start running out of work...( though thats rare nowadays,)

or if its raining  ;)....

Why cant you just up the prices on these totally,?

i have on a few,

Nothing to lose ,   if they dont like the new price,  they can jump!

and if they do , then you will clean them with a smile on your face  ;)

We've dumped one this week because she hadn't let us clean the windows since December (she was always on holiday). They were filthy when we did them on a boiling hot day, leaded windows and wouldn't let us use wfp. She waited 6 weeks and then said they were still dirty when we cleaned them and demanded we come round the following day!

You just don't need the hassle. Even if they pay an extra £1 or £2 they will still always be trouble.

Bad payers are an automatic no no also
