Best software with employees?
« on: July 10, 2010, 06:34:07 am »
Hi you all good guys! :)

Thinking of investing in a good software system that has it all.

Problems today is that I get phone calls and emails all the time, and I am really bad with just writing things down on the paper that I would find next to me. Perhaps someone gets this issue?
When its like that, I miss quotes, and some jobs and so on because my system with postits notes does not do the job.

For organization of the jobs now I just use excel.

I have one employee today, and are subcontracting some work.

I have read about Service CEO, and also recommended the software to a bigger company with about 10 employees, and they make more money now, even thou they are not computer geek by no means.

Is there anyone out there that has some experiences with the software - the good, and the bad?

Perhaps there is some software that is better?

Just looked over George and WCP, and it does not look like its a good software for a expanding company?

i cant see how a software program will help with u loosing paper,  just buy a note pad and leave on the dash in van and then transfer to excel when u get home, as this is all i do basically

Haa!
Trevor knight used to mod on here and runs a good business. He posted on here that he'd spent the dosh on service ceo and it routed his vans etc. At the time i was fairly new and couldn't believe how brilliant george was and said so.He gave me a right bollocking saying that it was okay for small fry like me and if i ever grew i would know better.Well unlike some on here i do bow to superior knowledge although i still thought george pretty nifty for £50.

I believe ceo costs £1,500.

About a year ago I bought WCP and guess what, on the website giving it a big endorsement as a great system and the one he uses, one Ttrevor Knight. ::)

I think what it is, is everybody maybe wants their software or system to work differently, with different options etc, as everybody is individual.

Weve been asked with Midas, can it do this, can it do that.  Yes we can make it to do anything you want really within reason, and if your using Midas , that function will automatically be updated for you, as its NOT software, its cloud computing, 1 system that everybody plugs into, exactly like a utility, like your gas or electric bill.
