 Daz -

for what it's worth i changed over to fan jets a couple of months ago and will never go back to pencil jets
Fans are quicker to rinse with cover the glass better and really shift the crud in the corners.

personally have not had any trouble with water spraying all over the place - just on the glass and frames as it should be.

i reckon to have saved upto 3/4 hr per day from when using pencil jets.

For me I would say pencil jets  ::) Fan ones spray more horizontal and In hot weather and on glass that beads I do not get the flush that I need to get the dirt off

Just my thoughts  ::)

Hiya dazmond mate ;)
I use fan jet's and they sound man ;)cover loads of the area, used right....but for the lads i have pencil jets in there brushes ;D
The thing is,personaly mate,i think the pencil are sound as you can see every drop ov water coming out & more accuracy(sh*t speller)
as with the fan jet's...they are a much wider spray, but i find if your not verry carefull you can have water everywere.....sometimes you might catch above a window with water & cause runns etc....
I have fan jet's in my own pole......as im a top window cleaner, but the lads on the other hand, not as carefull as me ;D i have them useing pencils....
I went for the fan jets a long time ago as i think less water useage...theres a tiny outlet hole in them, compared to a pencil jet........must use less water & you will cover a wider area when rinseing with a fan jet ;)
Ya will be able to convert that man....just a case ov a couple holes.....DONT make holes to big tho bud or you will have a knightmare keeping jets in....... :)

Hope this helps bud...but its wot ya prefer man..... ;)
I could think about sending you a couple ov fan jets to try out if you want mate...have to check first tho...not sure if i got spares???
But you will have to send them back to me tho mate... ;)

Take care mate & good luck whatever ya decide ;)
Kind regards
Justin ;)
Told ya daz mate....its what ya prefer bud ;)
Give them a go m8...lot ov guys swear by them ;)
Take care mate & good luck
Justin ;)

with the fan jets youn will run the risk of water catching the dirt on the way down as with pencil you can see where you are spraying

Use both Daz

I have adapted all my brushes so that there are pencil jets about 3/4 inch in from the edge and fan jets about 2 inches further in. You need a bit more water flow but you work so much faster you use less water if you follow what I mean.

Works a treat for me and the lads.
