Hire business for sale
« on: June 25, 2010, 11:01:45 am »
I am too busy with my truckmount work especially in Oxford to keep my Hire business running in Swindon so its up for grabs.I have 3 Numatic ctd902 carpet cleaning machines which do a very reasonable job(it aint professional but i have many satisfied customers). Also a small electric fan(gets an extra £5 as a rental) along with a box of 12 litres of excellent shampoo and loads of other chemicals for spot cleaning etc(microsplitters and others). It would ideally suit someone in Swindon as i can also include 2years advertising on Swindonweb(machine shown not the numatic) which brings in a steady flow of work. This has paid for itself over the last 2 years and would make an excellent add on to a window cleaner i think.I would prefer to sell the kit and the website to a Swindon based person for say £1200(with on going support) but will sell the kit seperately for £950.Feel free to ring me on 07878601150 if you require any further information.Regards Alan Turner(swindon)

Alan

Can i ask why you are selling this set up - i know from when i've worked with you that you get quite a bit of business from these machines

Jon I just cant fit it in with my work in Oxford(truckmount and thermadry stuff).I quite often get a hire when people only want to do a room and wont pay the £60 min charge i have so i convince them(sometimes) to hire a machine off me and do the whole house themselves for £35(tight bees).Even if you only have one machine to hire out it can prove a good little earner(especially if you add the fan for £5 then sell them a microsplit spotter for £8(or whatever you can get).It certainly helped me get my business started and as i have said before i picked up some commercial work through this too so quids in all round.Regards Alan(swindon)

Hi Alan,

Are the insurance premiums expensive for this type of business mate.
