one of our custies has a big ceramic globe on a stand in his garden. one of our lads knocked it off two years ago and smashed it to pieces, chap came out and explained that his granddaughter bought it him 15 years ago for birthday present and cost £600.
we told him we were very sorry and would pay him for it but he said it was ok and that accidents happen.
we went back to clean his windows the next month and it was back on its stand all glued up and looking terrible, every time i have seen it for the last two years it makes me cringe but it reminds us all to be careful around his property.
Thanks,
              Scott

I knocked a customer’s gnome off its stand a few months ago, it was only a small ceramic thing worth about a fiver, but his wife said he will be gutted as his grandkids got it for him.
So I took it home, got out the glue and paints and repaired it. I had to mix up epoxy resin to fill in the bits that were missing.
All in all I spent about 2 hours mending it.
I took it back and his wife replaced it, to this day he still does not know.
His wife has threatened to tell him about it if I put my price up ha ha, I don’t mind though as his is a great guy and give me a freshly smoked trout every month in season.  :)

You're loaded mate; a window cleaner and tv celeb, so just pay the bill and warn your employee that next time it'll come out of his wages ;)

PS....... What's happening with the work you asked me to price; just wandered ??? ???

Could always get some of that fixit supposed to fix most things as its been advertise on tv lately :)

I always mention to customers if things get broken as its in the way i wont pay for them Inside or outside so they are warned first just incase. And they all know where they stand and they know i have insurances too.

Just take this a lesson learnt  at a costly mistake.

Most excess you have to pay the first £250.00 anyway so some insurances I wouldnt bother just pay the bill when the artist has sent you the invoice. :)
