i dont mean to sound rude but that isnt a amazing amount to me.

dont get me wrong you wouldnt earn that working in a shop, office or factory but for window cleaning thats about average.

£150 a day average for trad? Whats a good day trad then?

Rather you than me in this.

If thats average on a day like this Id love to see you go when its agreeable window cleaning weather.

I've had a disastrous day, first clean was OK turned up to do the second job and was asked to squeege the window off after by a customer who I've had for 5 years always done the tops of her chalet bungalow WFP but I only switched the bottoms over last month, as she has a sheltered rear patio I'd kept it trad,
anyhow her reason was it looked like it had been raining when I asked if the clean was OK she replied yes, I reluctantly agreed to do it mainly because she's an old biddy and I like her.

I moved on to next door picked that one up about 6 months ago and she asked me to do the same and I refused, she then told me her windows dried spotty and her husband had to go over them with a squeegee  ::) and she paid more than next door, which is quite true as I hadn't put the price up in 5 years, So I told her they shouldn't be spotty after I'd cleaned and I'd check my TDS and rearrange her clean TDS meter was at home and guess what it was 10 ppm  ??? oops all my fault I guess,
Oh and I calculated the under priced job that's £8   2 monthly should be £16, If I cut my losses with both of them I'll loose a whole £9.50 a month Oh no  ;D ;D ;D

I had a good day, I went into B+Q and one of the dunderheads that worked there knew the answer to my question. Which is the first time that has ever happened.

I will always remember my record trad earnings for one day as it was the shortest day of the year 21st December 1988, this was my first spell in window cleaning
I done the exact same amount £149.50

i would not have , in this weather they would be dry in no time , don't let the customer dictate how you do the windows.

Yes I know Daz usually a rule for me as well I was taken off guard today though, somehow I knew next door would say the same they'd obviously been chatting, at the moment I'm thinking about giving the second one her money back for the supposedly spotted last clean then dump both of them.

Gordon Bennet, read the post again lads. Woody said he didn't go flat out, took it easy and worked about 5.5 to 6 hours and earned more than he expected to at that pace. I don't think he meant it was a great earning day.

we all have good and not so good days. He had a good one. It's not meant to brag. Maybe I've misunderstood you Woody, I didn't think so.

Yep I'd be happy at that and I'm WFP had better days and also had days where I've had enough before I've done that much.

What do you expect posting your earnings on here.
They should be between you and your accountant.
Does anyone go in the pub and shout out and brag of their earnings, dear oh dear ::)

No John, that's the point, it wasn't about earnings.
