Feldon,

I have used many different extractors over the years including Prochem Powermax's, Galaxy's. Ninjas, Steam Genies, Us Products Cobra,Scorpion etc. I have purchased an Airflex Turbo a few months ago  and it is far and away the best portable machine I have had. It is well built, smart to look at and offers excellent performance. Like many others I like Matt and his service is generally very good.

You cant really compare a Prochem Powermax with an Airflex turbo. The difference in capacity and power is immense. You would upgrade from a Powermax to an Airflex not choose between them.

Richard
the snidy remarks have not been aimed at Cleansmart.
they have been aimed at Solutions Cornwall

It was you that decided to bring the names....NICK/SOLUTIONS  though and in such a way making it sound like i had mentioned them.  Whats the point?

Bad blood started years ago with allergstop and also deleted posts over defending products but that was when the forums were in their infancy I think that things have grown up a bit but things were a bit 'one way' and most of us saw through it.

Hi

If your considering the airflex why not go all the way & get the Turbo?

3 bigger vac motors & 600psi pump.

Hi Dave

One of the reasons I am considering the Airflex Pro is the price which fits in with my budget, but also I believe that when I am ready to I can upgrade the pump as the unit is the same.

Hi

I could be wrong but i think the motors in the triple are highrer rated than the motors in the twin, so its not just a case of adding an extra motor, you would have to change all three for the same performance as the Turbo.

I was responsible for many of the negative postings about the A / S set up when it started but it was NOT about the product or about the credibility of Nick. I've been around long enough to assess the likely commercial success of marketing exercise and made my thoughts public on that one.

Got me banned from C / T but there was no malicious intent just an expression of my opinion as to how I expected things to pan out ...........Unfortunately I was proven to be right.

I was welcomed back to C / T and they are a bit more relaxed these days.

Waynebarry if I was you I would get a demo from both suppiers and then make you chioce as I already said I love the EMV201 does everything I need and so many jobs I do they say we got stains and marks others have said would never come out, so lots of repeats and referrals.

I have not had personal experience of either machine, except for a couple minutes at an exhibition of a bit of wanding with the Airflex - which doesnt count as having a proper go.

Do as our friend in Perth says - get a proper demo of each, and maybe the other machines on the market ie Scorpion and Alltec triple vac, and take it from there.

The Texatherm machine works on a different principle to the others, so you need proper evaluation of all.  When I say proper, I mean a proper job in a house or commercial, typically a type of job that you would normally do.

I have bought a machine in the past from Texatherm and from Cleansmart and I find their service and backup really good.

Yup, 2 x 1200w in the twin vac (I've got one) and 3 x 1500w in the triple.

Just a quick update, I have decided to go ahead and order the Airflex Pro 130psi, was considering the Prochem Steampro 2000 Powermax but the Airflex offers the better spec and was little bit cheaper.  I know there will be a few of you who will say I should have gone for the higher spec turbo but I would rather save my cash for marketing and upgrade down the line.

Also did the one day carpet training course with Derek Bolton, very informative and will be doing the upholstery course next month before going on to do the NCCA course either in June or Sept.

Will be going down the environmentaly friendly route, what solutions do you guys recommend I use?

Was thinking along the lines of M-Power, Wool-X and Prochem Natural range and suggestions and advice appreciated. :)

Good call!

Keeping some money back for marketing is a fantastic move as there's no point of having and all singing and dancing machine in the garage, so get the phone ringing first and upgrade later.
