I met Andy & Judy on my training course at LTT.  Andy was a great bloke, extremely patient, helpful and understanding.  He will be sorely missed.

I only did my course early this year, and although I was aware of Andy's condition at that time, he gave nothing less than 100% into that course when many others in his situation would have perhaps just gone through the motions.

There are few people in any trade that are known by all the others for being a 'True Expert' at the top of their profession. Andy was exactly this to the leather cleaning and restoration business. He will be missed and remembered everytime I carry my box of leather tools into a house.

Few of us will leave such a lasting impression on all they meet as Andy Alcock did. A quiet unassuming gentleman who won worldwide respect in an industry where respect has to be earned the hard way.

On the four occasions I was in his company Andy never criticised anyone when discussing different approaches. He didn't need to. When you're at the top of your profession you no longer have anything to prove.

I regard myself as very fortunate to have known him and spent valuable time with him.
