I met Andy & Judy on my training course at LTT.  Andy was a great bloke, extremely patient, helpful and understanding.  He will be sorely missed.
Deepest sympathies to Judy and the family.

Hi,

I am saddened to hear such awful news. I never met the gent, but he spent quite a lot of time on the phone advising us when we encountered a problem. My sincerest condolences to his family.

I am shocked to hear about Andy. I attended a L.T.T. Course and found him a great Teacher. Deep sympathies to his family, sorely missed.

Dear Judy

I am sorry to hear your sad news. Our thoughts and prayers remain with you and your loved ones. I shall remember Andy with great fondness for his skill and obvious pleasure in sharing his skill and knowledge.

I regret it is unlikely that i shall be able to attend the funeral.

With deep sadness.

Judy

Please accept my deepest sympathy.

I thoroughly enjoyed my training at LTT and that was all due to Andy's warm nature and ability to teach.

The industry has lost a fine man.

I only did my course early this year, and although I was aware of Andy's condition at that time, he gave nothing less than 100% into that course when many others in his situation would have perhaps just gone through the motions.

There are few people in any trade that are known by all the others for being a 'True Expert' at the top of their profession. Andy was exactly this to the leather cleaning and restoration business. He will be missed and remembered everytime I carry my box of leather tools into a house.

My condolences to Andy's family and to Judy.

In the happines of Heaven now. Only spoke to Andy on the phone a few times, never had the pleasure of meeting him personally, but he was very helpful to me and gave me some great leather advice. My sympathies to Judy and all his friends.

I'm utterly shocked.  When someone's ill you always just keep in mind they're going to get better...

Very very sad, I feel like I've lost a friend.  Judy this must be so hard for you, I know you're an incredibly strong woman so you'll pull through.  But you have a lot of friends out here if you need us.

You have a great deal to be proud of.

Few of us will leave such a lasting impression on all they meet as Andy Alcock did. A quiet unassuming gentleman who won worldwide respect in an industry where respect has to be earned the hard way.

On the four occasions I was in his company Andy never criticised anyone when discussing different approaches. He didn't need to. When you're at the top of your profession you no longer have anything to prove.

I regard myself as very fortunate to have known him and spent valuable time with him.
