The Prowler runs on petrol , so no need to change over the electrics.
You would make very minimal savings at the moment by going the grey import route , after VAT, import duty, shipping and the paperwork a thousand would be the most you would save.
VAT is ok we are VAT registered.
I know it petrol, but I thought something(s) needed to be changed over for use in the UK. I could be wrong
And yes support for this product is what is stopping me from shipping it over. Which can be done as my father in law reside in Texas. So I could bypass the UK.
import tax / duty is not that high.
Joe Yes I agree with you. Support is everthing when its needed. But its alot to pay in the UK. So at present I am looking for an upgrade in electric poprty.
I will telephone John at Restore mate and see what the lease cost would be on the Prowler to compare prices with an electric porty.
Clinton I agree here as well. We do have the work load. But maybe I am thinking wrong. My return would take longer to get back than if I could get the same results with a CFR/SCORPION/AIRFLEX. Plus no cost on the running side as use customers electric. If I needed to work at a site with no electric I can use my brother generator which is huge. So at the moment I would say it
CFR/SCORPION/AIRFLEX one of these as £6500 is alot to find where as £3000 is easier.
I have also looked at the Thermaflex machine. The yellow one which i remote control. But it only has a 160psi pump.
I am looking at the cfr 750 but cannot find a price as yet as that is big emough to deal with hard floors. The Alltec at 1200psi is great but I am not sure if you can truck mount it like scorpion or airflex. And they are along way from me.
