i use wfp for 99% of jobs, and after the first clean, then are ok,  had the odd one that is dirty, with a big mark, always seem suspicious to me, as it wasnt there when i finished as have a walk around and check before i go as a lot of my work is compact

it is hard to start with because you walk away before the end result but as has been said with practice you know what windows could leave potential spotting and there is no better feeling than doing in and out of a custys house and seeing the results for yourself . No doubt sometimes you get problems but doing it trad you can sometimes miss little bits that you notice when cleaning the inside. i think wfp is the future but no window cleaner should be without the traditional tools both great. ;D

Well this guy doesn't like wfp much  ::) Text is taken from a website front page, In fairness I won't reveal the address  he may be a member.

We clean windows on a regular 4 weekly basis for domestic customers, whilst our shop customers are cleaned once a week.

We clean the windows properly by hand, not with a pole system with water gushing out that leaves streaks and wastes water by the bucket load (literally!). They’re fine for windows that can’t be reached by ladder, but essentially no better than using a hosepipe in our opinion!

First time, maybe the first couple of times you use it, it's no quicker, and it hurts different muscles to trad. so give it up.
It's not a magic wand. You have to do it right, just like trad.
I do a large office block in and out, and it's reassuring to see how good it looks from the inside.  ;D

What's the betting he will change to wfp in the end. A few I knew knocked it when I started wfp, now they all have it.

I know what you are saying, if its so good why do you read all the problems on the forum  ::) ....
But you can turn that question on its head if its so rubbish why do so many window cleaners that are WFP encourage others to go WFP.... If it was that bad then surely thay would say stay away from it  ::)

Wfp is not perfect there are problems with it. But dont think its not worth having  ::)

jouk45 is right get to master the tool and you will wonder how you lived without it

most of the people selling say they had a change of circumstances  could mean a number of things ,there mum wants her broom back, the dhss  has collared him, someone's tripped over his trailing pipe and wants to sue, his necks gone from all that looking up, he,s been put on a meter, and my personnel favourite he,s gone back traditional for job satisfaction  :)

wfp is safer, faster, does a better job and most importantly is more profitable.

I was talking to one on Friday at the house where I was cleaning carpets.
He has a trolley system and WFP's the upper storeys whilst his helper does the
ground floor windows traditionally.
Is this the norm?

there a lot of system for sale on ebay as people spend there money on there system, the best they can buy, dont have the custy base, think that jobs will come flooding in and it doesnt  so sell it on ebay
