I have only used it on small holes . It might work on tears have not tried it could

Some idiot was going about 50mph in a 40 mph area and my hose was across the road and it tore a 1/2 inch tear in hose . Water sprayed out like a fountain .
For this i used LLFA compression tape again from
www.toolstation.com more expensive at £8:69 for 1 metre . It comes in 4 strips which i cut in half .
This will work even if water is spraying out and has a high tensile strength 1200 psi and tear resistance of 125 psi . Highly uv resistance . Mike
