It all depends on what your goal is in my point of view.
I am quite young, 25 years. Started with running a company as 18 year old.
Learned a lot the earlier years - was running a company with several that was 30ish.
We were running a tech company that developed stuff.
But my life was all about work and parties. That life I do not want again. Then I tried to be a regular employee for 6 month - was going to write a long lasting contract, but a guy that I knew a bit called me just when I was going to sign - if I wanted to work for him.
After some rounds with my self - I thought "why not just start my own company again".
So now I have been running this for almost 2,5 years. I have learned a lot, in these two years also.
I like expensive cars, so I went down that road. Have learned my lesson there.
If I were doing this all over again there are something’s that I would do on another way:
- Start with really good software (like service ceo) and some good accounting software.
- Also hire someone to do everything with invoices and stuff like that.
- Just sell all the time to commercial, and checkup what the employees are doing.
- If i were going to residential - I would have a really good webpage with form that they have to sign contract and everything. Less paperwork than signing written contracts.
- Get a proper uniform as soon as possible.
There are a few thing there, something that are good to start with....
There are of course a couple of things more that you just have to learn the hard way

And yes, I also went WFP recently - Nice thing.
But do NOT buy van mount and a trolly...... The trolly have only been tested one time.....
