This is Dave's point Neil. When you are working with both volume and power of water, you don't need to do that sort of prep and whilst I have never seen it done I don't doubt Dave's word. My porty is decent enough and I can whip up 400psi with heat (Ninja) but against 1000psi (with volume) I know he will beat me it's just whether the prep I do would show a better result. It would certainly put an age old debate to bed.

You coming? Plenty of you  have read  this post but only a few said yes. Surprised (even in this short space of time) that we haven't had more yes's.

Hi Guys

I have made it sticky as requested.

As for my bit I plan a pratical demonstration of the use of Solvents in particular for stain removal, what works on what, simple chemical composition so you know why it's likely to work, reaction to fabrics, health and safety etc.

It would be simple chemistry with a heavy emphasis on practical stain removal.

I think it's an excellent idea to have real world CC's demonstrating their particular knowledge, there's a lot of it out there  ;)

Cheers

Has anyone ever used 1000psi on carpets, has there ever been an occasion when 1000psi was needed to clean carpet ?

A question I'm sure Dave will be happy to answer (and perhaps even demonstrate). Rob, you know your stuff, anything you would like to cover?

Jeremy Kyle won't make your phone ring!

Go out and see retailers, post leaflets, database, letting agents.

Shaun

OOps it's 10.48 in the morning and I'm at home Doh!

My excuse is that my van breaks need doing, my data base is going out as I type and Jeremy Kyle is winging his way to me with a cuppa.

I'll be announcing soon an NCCA Workshop event to be held in Shropshire in April. It'll be part seminar and part hands on.  The dye on the carpet you'll be (safely) cleaning bleeds!

Safe and happy cleaning :)

I've just spoken to John Kelly, he's up for bringing a prowler along. Either the current 13hp or new 15hp. Looking forward to having a go!
