Have you bought supplies that are simply a waste of money?
Here's mine:

Oilflow solvent remover. So weak that it takes all day to break down the solvent or sticky residue on glass and plastic.

Astonish oven cleaner - doesn't work on ovens but is ok for upvc

Fleetclean tfr - simply useless at the recommended dilution rates for conservatory roofs. Works ok if really strong but stains any glass if it drys

Windsol crystal clear mineral deposit/calcium remover - ruined two windows with it and it works no better than cheap Viakal

Gardiners first series plastic clamps - used to snap and ping off for a pastime (new ones are perfect)

Gardiners mark1 superlight pole. Fantasticlly light and stiff but would snap if you sneezed on it it was a Maver fishing pole unlike the current  version.

Ungers fluid - not the normal one but a free bottle that was given away by one supplier for testing. Awe-full stuff that left a residue that couldn't be seen untill it was too late.

Leisure batteries that don't last nine months.

Vikan sill brush - scrubs really well but is twice as heavy as it needs to be.

Finally any glassfibre telescopic pole including my telescopic jet washing lance - dreadful clamps, far too heavy and flexible.

Have you bought anything you aren't happy with?

you are having a larf?!

excellent stuff. used it on a massive building with big mineral deposit build up over 30 years. the glass looked like new.

Also used it on countless windows since and everytime A1 results.

Do you think that maybe it could of been user error?

think you are a bit hard on fleetclean - i find it excellent, altho i dont use it at 100 to1 more like 30 to 1 but i find most products are better if you mix them at a stronger rate

This thread is of great value and should be run permanent.It would stop bad products supplied to us.Well down would the mods pay head and keep it at the top of the page with summerys of oyur finding at useing a product.

 Here one just bought a velve from gardeners.The snap ( John Guest type) they leak something cronic.I am going to try thread tape

"Dog eared" squeegee!  What a stupid idea! 
I've been stuck with a "dog eared" blade for years, I keep meaning to throw away.  Ruined a good tool.  I've tested with and without, without is much better.

12volt remote I bought to stop my pump was absolutely useless and wasted more water than I did before I used it.

Garden tap timer so that my ro would fill the tank while I was out without it over filling. Reduced the flow so much nothing was going through the merlin.

Cheap pumps from ebay that only last a couple of weeks before the pressure switch leaks more water than it pumps through the pole.

whats wrong with the WAGTAIL ? I  cant fault my wagtail though it looks/feels cheap. (id like to hear of another squeegee with the same reach as the wag)
 
my Unger zero degree has a naff design of the clamp that grips  the channel and poor reach

You can only clean a couple of windows with each pad, thats saying if the windows are already clean.

sometimes you can have too much kit.

Our vans just have wfp, squeegie washer and bucket.
