i've been out today and did some leaflet dropping the way i did it was done one street then missed 8-9 streets then did another one 

what i am thinking is spread my bait out to see where i get a nibble then go back and leaflet the surounding roads what do you think is it a good idea or not

how do you do your leaflet dropping let me know

it is a good idea mate aslong as you record what streets you do.
i have a map of my area and tick each street i do!
 Im going out door knocking this week as i have delivered quite a few areas now!
also going to knock a few other areas aswell that i havent delivered too!

just leaflet everything,  u dont know who wants a wc, the house with the dirty windows might not want a cleaner, but the clean house might

if u are just leaflet certain street, u might as well just knock and cherry pick the houses, its a numbers game,  i recently put out about 1500 leaflets and only got 7-8 off it but a few gutter jobs,  but will be putting 10000 a month out for 6 months, once i get time,  to see out it goes

to be honest the windows didn't look great but i won't be under pricing thats for sure there's no point

i bought a few local street maps +a fluorescent marker pen and then trudged the streets ,colouring the streets on my map as i went . once i got busy with cleaning i hadnt the energy to trudge so i paid a woman to leaflet as its tuff on the feet isnt it.  each time she leafletted i made sure was never more than 2hours at a time ,over 2 hours people slow up and are tempted to skip houses . she texd me each time she started and then texd me when she finished and i paid her the same afternoon and that gave me a chance to chat to her and follow up leads. i also asked her to pop into shops and give an instant price but that didnt work and im glad it didnt as the truth is the houses are easier money

if you dont want to do it your self, get the local free paper boy to put them out i do this and it cost me a tenner


i priced a job to day from a leaflet i put out about 2 weeks ago, in between two houses that i do now, even thoguht the women has seen me and even said no when i knocked it,  she got the leaflet and phoned up, 

u should make advertising part of your budget each month along with fuel and ins etc,  the only reason a lot of these companys get work is they are seen, if know one knows you are there how will they get in touch with you

I will be doing leaflet drops and door knocking as i am only going to do residential window cleaning so my best advertising will be word of mouth with a bit of an added bonus for customer referral's

I'd agree with that. Just keep knocking. Don't think, just knock.
