Thanks Mike, I have not lost any customers as they are all going to stay with me. But I lost time and money last week by cleaning windows that he had already done by decieving the customers into thinking I had packed up cleaning!!  I couldn't really charge them to have their windows cleaned again could I? Anyway as soon as I can get to speak to this low life, I am going to give him a peice of my mind and warn him off.

Why dont you get a mate to ring him and arrange a quote and then when he turns up to price it up you can have a "polite" word with him

the problem with what you advise is it can go rather wrong with that approach,  i will give example, pretend your at my door and follow the advise above,  OK  so your on my property,  i either laugh at you and give you a kiss and go finish my cuppa or i get the hump and put you out cold,  then for a laugh clean up prints of a baseball bat and put your prints on it while out cold,  then phone the old bill, while waiting for them i would keep you going in an out of la-la land, then you would be arrested for affray with intent,  i would still laugh at you and finish my cuppa,
now you have not achieved anything but got yourself in more trouble than you started with.

never been put out cold ive been hit with small bats lead pipe, I'm lucky it got a head like a steal structure, the advise of my words was for the chap who like to think there tuff through talk, if i thought the person coming up my drive with bad intentions i would meet him as quick as full tear up then phone for a car to be brought over and the person stuffed in the boot an taken up the woods. im not a hard man i just enjoy life and know one will get in the way of it, i don't have a line i wont cross, many will only go so far,  i was just trying to give a example of it going wrong as sometimes people don't know who there dealing with.
