Hi All,
Brilliant site lots of useful questions and answers.
Im starting a block paving and patio cleaning business next year London based.
The machine is a Karhcer hds 1000 be hot/cold/steam, 210 bars, 15 ltrs p m, truck mounted with 1000 ltrs on board.

1)   Which is the best flat surface cleaner I’m thinking about buying a Tech Clean one?

2)   I spoke to a lady at Tech Clean about the one with the vac for block paving and she said that she wouldn’t advise it for block paving because of the dips in the paving which would cause the loss of vacuum or would the vac pipe be a total pain.(sorry the gremlins got this bit) have you used the one with the vac and whats your views. please see link below for fsc with vac

What attachments would I need for removing gum and how?
What PSI is best for brickwork as I don’t want to blow the face?
Any idea where I can get a rubber mat grooved ramp something like the fire brigade use to protect the pipes on the pavement so that I don’t get some no win no fee nut following me around throwing himself over the pipes.
Anyone done a risk assessment for commercial block cleaning to have a look at to get some idea.
Having a problem getting public liability insurance for commercial work, any phone numbers and advive much appreciated.
How would you handle enquires from say 15 miles away would you quote a price over the phone as I don’t want to do a 30 mile round trip for a £60 job when it would be better spent working.

Hello,
Talk to your enterprise-centre and business link. They can help with insurance and many other business problems.

Working pressure for different materials. The equipment manufactures will help with this problem to get the best results.

Health and Safety the Enterprise Centre can help you there.

Cleaning equipment and chemicals it is best to talk to a supplierof these items.
