go back a page or two on the posts and there was a bit about it. think there is about 2 or 3 different types.

it can be a little strong in some situations but works well. some will dip the brush in it and then clean gutters with.

i sometimes use caravan cleaner on con roofs. use a 17ft pole and a 7ft pole for the bottom bits on cons and garage doors. works well on caravans and even boats.

def get a cheap pole mate - try cleaningspot for a cheap fibre glass pole.

price them well as i've found that rinsing the ones with a gentle slope is a right pig of a job, especially getting the algae out from under the seals.  :P nasty things if you ask me.

any tips on a decent pressure washer with a long lance to clean facias on houses. taking my washer up the ladder with me surely isnt the best way, only a matter of time before i break the washer or my leg!

Welshwindows I use to clean conny roofs with a brush like this.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HEAVY-DUTY-EXTENDABLE-WASH-BRUSH-FOR-CAR-VAN-CARAVAN_W0QQitemZ330423402612QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item4ceec50074

Just dip it in a bucket of diluted TFR then attach a garden hose to the end of the pole and rinse off.

This is similar to the lance I use on Fascias and outside of guttering. I dont use it soffits with the slits though, I find you jet the water in this and they will drip all day long and you can't get it clean.

TFR or Truck wash I would of thought you could get it from Halfords or similar stores.
I use a universal cleaner (its basically TFR) but smells better lol
I buy it in 5litre containers approximately £5.50 per container.
25litre drum of TFR will cost approximately £20-£25

pop to B&Q and get a decorating pole ( harris is the brand )

go the sweeping brush isle and get a lightweight sweeping brush

go to the Hose section, buy 10 M of hozelock micro irrigation pipe ( its 6 mm )

stay in the same section and get a pack of  hozelock micro irrigation jets

still in the same section, get a pack of hozelock micro irrigation T pieces

once again in the same section, a hozelock micro irrigation to hozelock hosepipe connection

now if you do not have a hosepipe in your garden ( or the customer doesnt either ) then you wil need to buy some hose

go home and drill 2 holes into brushhead, the holes need to be a tight fit for the jets to push into ( pop a spot of superglue into the brush hole to make sure they stay put )

attach brush head to harris pole

attach hozelock micro irrigation pipe to jets and T connection

go to customer house and earn money

Heres what I do and its up to you to take my advise or not.

I use a brush the same as the one Matt posted the link for. I dont bother connecting to a hose they leek like hell. Just dip brush in bucket of fairy and brush away. Rinse off with garden hose pipe.

Get a stiff bristled loo brush and a long bungee, fix the loo brush to the end of the pole you bought (after you have unscrewed the square brush). This loo brush is awesome for getting in the deep corners of any awkward bits on any upvc like Victorian style con roofs and the brackets holding up guttering.

I really dont rate TFR fairy is all you need.

Con roof £20 standard upwards for bigger ones. but that's in my area. shouldn't take longer than 40mins

I've got a WFP set up but still jump on the ladders to do gutter cleans and con roofs.

£50 min for conny roofs.brush kit on trad pole, dip in fairy or tfr(depending how bad the roof is!!),apply, leave a min then plug into outside tap and scrub away!should take about an hour unless access issue then more like an hour and a half inclu conny windows after roof.

just using hosepipe is crap as you need to get nearer the roof might even need to get the ladders out.you get wet and you always find a bit youve missed that wont come of with the hosepipe!

wfp all the way mate!take no notice of mr D!! ;) ;D ;D ;D
price higher/work harder!
