went to work this morning cleaned a block of granny flats and a few country houses.im heading back home at 4 and i notice steam coming from bonnet.i keep driving as i want to get home.nearly blew the engine up.i think the water pumps gone and as its an old car im scrapping it tommorrow!had it nearly 7 years! : :

anyway im van hunting from wed i bit earlier than i intended!i just hope i can get a half decent combo/doblo/berlingo for 2grand thatll last me a couple of years! : :

ive got loads of work to do but cant do nowt at the moment!!the weather forecast is great all week as well!!

put fresh water back in yer Ford in the morning and run her up and see where its leaking from.it  might be just a split hose ,dont write her off just yet if i was you .

Had a similar experience to you Daz... My motor died on me (vw sharan).... I was on the motorway. Mechanic said it would cost more to fix than the van was worth.

Got a van and I have increased my workload by 40% daily by being able to carry more water. Before I was having to come back home a few times daily.

got a half decent kangoo for £1400! ;D12 months mot/6 months tax.tidy little van!i pick it up in the morning.ill have to get a new roof rack though as well

commercial van insurance:£252!happy days!
