Bigish contract.
« on: April 12, 2010, 02:56:54 pm »
I have been asked to quote for a number buildings for a certain company. I told them I'd quote one (the one nearest me) and we could take it from there.

I have quoted this one before, just over 3 years ago. Apparently the guy who won the contract back then, fell off his ladder about 18 months ago while cleaning one of their buildings.

They have told me they have no record of my previous quote.

Do you guys think I should go in around the same price + inflation, or go in higher knowing that this is a problem area for them and for (to a lesser extent) me?

When I quoted this 3 years ago it was 10 buildings, I have done a bit of research, they now have 27.

What would you do?

Quote the 1st one the same as before plus inflation each year since the quote, then youve got your foot in the door,
I got a mate who has about 50 blocks with a company they dont even ask him to quote anymore just give him address he turns up cleans invoices no questions, probs the same company as you..... ;)
