Help Sudacrem!!!!

Hi Guys,

Need some help my son some how got hold of a full tub of Sudacrem and has emptied the whole contents into our wool carpet  How the missus failed to notice this amazes me but it's up to muggings to know sort it on this lovely day where i should be out enjoying the sunshine
What is the best way to get rid of this if any
All thoughts welcome pleeeease

this is a guess so wait for proper advice but i'd say its oil based so clean it as oil, water based solvent like citra boost neat and extract rinse is how i'd tackle it.

Derek's right Citrus Gel will do it, Solvex would be better, it will break it up on contact citrus gel might take a bit more time, apply solvex on the cloth, blot then rinse. Remove as much as you can before treatment. White spirit is not free rinsing so last resort.

Good point Simon. Iv had ones that Citrus Gel wouldn't look at. So yeah, last resort.

Thanks for your views guys i did try citrus gel and rinse it has made it better but not hugely i think he did a good job of rubbing it deep into the pile :( so will try the white spirit as i am out of solvex fingers crossed it helps :-\

   Iv'e had success with prochems fabric restorer, it was on upholstery but should work on carpets, plenty of rinsing though(acid)
