I did. The "switch" kept jamming.

In the end I changed to a tap on my belt.
It's a game of three halves!

The switches used to jam quite regularly a while ago, and it was my own doing.  I used to take the supplied pin out and replaced it with a stronger galvanised pin.  The problem was the galvanising broke down in around 3 months and the rust was falling into the switch causing it to jam.  An easy fix but some people gave up.  I changed the position of the switch on the brush so that the toggle is more protected, and leave the original stainless steel pin, and now I get very little problems with them.

Joe on the academy forum has a new switch idea thats worth a look. Pete's is defo more robust, but joes on is a fraction of the weight.

All my poles are autobrush fitted. One is a Salmon brush, one a Superlite and one a Vikan. I couldn't work without them and not get crabby.

peter fogwills autobrush is brilliant, ok sometimes it will acidently switch of, but its only a second to switch back on, better than any flow control on a belt, in fact i have never use one for over 2 years, waste of time imo

these brushes sound great!i might get one straight away for when i start rather than a tap or trigger.

do they save a bit more water and mess as your moving from window to window?

im after a trolley as well.i dont know whether to go for the pure freedom 50lt or peter fogwells ??? ???

the pure freedom one looks more robust with better tyres but peters has got a hose reel and autobrush in with the price.i dont want another unger pole though!too heavy and whippy!! ::) ::)

decisions,decisions ::) :-\ :-\
price higher/work harder!
