how to drop a customer nicely
« on: April 08, 2010, 09:23:21 pm »
As the title says, any suggestions?
Said customers are ok,but its on a caravan site, someone else asked me to give them a quote, after that some guy comes round the corner saying just do these two(the ones I had come to do) seems to me there is internal politics going on,and I aint being piggie in the middle! So easier not to turn up I dont need the grief.
It also smacks of mini mafia so  I want to leave em to it,but politely.
Hope I am making sense here

I have found one person want to control all the business in these parks and channel all business to one windy. But they cream off a bit or want a backhander for trouble. For this channelled services they also get rid of new comers with a squeegee in the hand. By saying every one is sorted out by some matieboy for 5 years already, they seam quite intimidating. ::)

Where are they?

I do a few travellers windows. Once they see your not intimedated they are fine. I clean two families who cant stop fighting with each other. I was packing up last summer and they were ramming each other off the road then trying to cut each other up  :)
Some of them are good mates to an extent but on a business level

i do a commercial job on a caravan park(big house and reception).only in the spring and summer.if i get paid at the end of the job thats all im really bothered about!

on topic just dont go back or phone them to say your busy with other work and cant make these jobs pay unless u put them up to £50 min and do them every 2 months(tosh would! ;) ;D ;D)
price higher/work harder!

If your going out of your way for it just dont turn up again. If they phone you tell them your busy or behind and you will clean them when your back up to date. They will soon get sick of waiting and get another wc or tell them its hard for you to travel that far and they will need to find another wc

Good luck
