need some inspiration
« on: April 07, 2010, 06:24:39 pm »
finally completed my 4 page A5 leaflet. all looks good, (to me anyhoo) but i'm struggling for a good headline. something that will grab there attention, something that will make them at least open the leaflet and see all the pretty pictures and maybe even to push them to see the back page where the discount voucher is.

really struggling so come on guys put your thinking caps on. headline winner get 2! yes count them, 2 cans of viking lager ;D

around 6 words for the big banner header then a very small follow up line of around 10 words.

all i can come up with and yes it is a bit lame but here goes

"remember when it looked like new?
let us put the proud back into house proud.    yeah yeah yeah. i know ;D cheeeeeeeeesy

anyhoo have a go if ya like

ps...its for cleaning all surfaces not just carpets

If it's going to local homes and businesses why not try

Your LOCAL professional Cleaning Company

Don't try and be clever just tell them you are local and you will get more people keeping it and more old dears using you.

why is the most important thing on the back? the discount voucher

how about having it on the front, make it look like a £10 note and have the headline how will you spend your free £10

plus  your leaflet won't have a front or a back....... it will just have the side that faces up when it hits the floor.

ive got a £10 off voucher that looks like a ten pound note on the front if it lands face down ;D

just need a good one liner for the back if it lands face up, confusing myself now ???

shaun, "local" is worth a thought, i'll see what i can fashion out of that word.

10 bob, i don't think you'll get one bob to join never mind 10, bobs don't like me very much ;D

Never trust an EXPERT :o

An "EX" is an unknown quantity.

A "SPERT" is a drip under pressure.

Derek you could always put it across the corner of a page this space is not often used also if you put a yellow band with the black writting on top this will catch the eye and make people read it just IMO

THATS WHAT MOST SIGNS ON THE ROAD ARE YELLOW ON BLACK SO IT MUST WORK

PS YOU CAN STICK YOUR 2 CANS OF VIKING LAGER IN YOUR BOWSER TANK ;D ;D ;D
