I used that Halfords dry wax cycle chain lubricant on my telescopic pole today - it's [bsuperb][/b].
Might not be good for the pole in the long term but I don't care anymore. Tiny spot on the cams on the clamps as well as a very small amount on the pole itself and I'm flying.
I wear gloves so don't find the slippery pole a problem. Really amazed with the stuff.
