putting van ports in that i bought from craig at polarbrite,im scared of drilling holes in my van,whereabouts do i drill and what drill bit do i need.
any advice would be great place as im worried i could make a mess up or weaken my van.
anyone else put one in?

hi mate, i did my own and i got it from the same place as you.  i used small bolts to fix the bracket to the underneath of my bumper and then got a 25ml hole cutter cost £7 and cut 4 holes in the floor of my van at the back near the rear doors in the corner and then run the hoses and then siliconed around the holes to make them water tight.

the van i have does have the holes in the side of the van as it was owned by a window cleaner 2 owners ago but the hole has had a plate spot welded to it and siliconed,would it be hard to take this plate out?or would i end up damaging my panels?

im thinking i only need one of the connections just from my xline trolley system.
would it be possible just to cut one hole in the van and then sillicone it to the van so i can then run my 100 metre hose off that?
saves a lot of hassle maybe?
i shall be filling my tank via 25 litre containers.
whats everyone think?

Can I ask why you do this is it for security reasons? i.e leaving van locked while your working?

did you know you can close and lock your door on microbore hosing? (not tight obviously) thats what i do, leave the reels in the van, take out what you need, walk back sorting out any trip hazards, then lock the van.

I can pust my doos too, dont even need to be shut, press the alarm button on key fob and if some one trys to open the door the alarm sounds.
