High window cleaning with a pole ... again
« on: April 01, 2010, 11:44:54 am »
I'm pricing another job at the moment to clean windows about 7 stories high.

If I get the job I could hire a 72footer but I was wondering, being as there is very little room on one side of the building the angle would be very steep so would a pole that high be able to be errected?

You'd be ok with a modular. Have 2 people 1 to hold the pole the other to feed the sections.

Simon.

It is possible to work close to the building but you need to be careful of gusts of wind that suddenly catch the pole brush, I would also recommend that you and your helper wear hard hats and boots.

Its alright reaching that height, but if you are too close, remember that you will get little if no pressure on the brush(especially at that height)Best to warn the customer first so they wont be disappointed in the results!!!
