I don't use gloves but I have a hot WFP system, which is ideal for when it gets a bit too cold. I have done this job so long, when there was only leather and scrims and brass squeegees, I always used to teach my lads that after the first painful hour, your hands just get used to it, but try to keep them as dry as possible, but don't dunk them in hot water in the bucket, no matter how much you want to.
Some of the gloves available on various websites do look ok though, I might give them a try, as I am getting older

i brought expensive diving gloves - these lasted only 6 weeks.

in the end i brought £1.00 woolly gloves from Tesco and used latex examination gloves over the top - this lasted the rest of the winter and kept my hands warm dry.

at the end of the day i just threw the latex gloves away.

a box of these is around £3.00 for 2000 (1000 pairs )

try these with some cotton thin gloves underneath on really cold mornings, they are all i use these days

Thanks h2Hose.  Do they make your hands sweat?  I was wondering if there was some breathable fabric that was waterproof.

I might try those blue ones tho'.

If you wear the cotton liners thy dont make your hands sweat mate..ideal for these cold mornings brrrrrrrrrr

iv bought sum joka gloves from omnipole at windex and im really impressed with them there not sure much warm but they are completely waterproof so far and there not tight fitting so you could get away with a small woolen pair underneath excellent grip too

a pair of latex gloves usually last the day without any probs.
