Which engine? 1.9 or 1.3?

Just looked on DVLA

Private/Light Goods Pre 1/3/2001 under 1550cc is £125, over 1550cc is £190

All light goods 1/3/2001 to 1/3/2003 is £185

Euro4 registered from 1/3/2003 to 31st December 2006 is £125

After 31/12/06 it is up to £185 again

But if it is Euro5 and after 31/01/09 it is back down to £125 again.

So if your 1.3 Doblo is Euro4 registered after 31/10/06 then you get stung for the £185.

Lucky me - my 1.3 was registered 31/10/06 and so is only £125. When was yours registered?

this doesn't really make sense is it?an older van pays less road tax than a newer one.
mine is registered 31/01/2007
i looked on dvla website but couldn't find any  details for the period between 31/12/2006-31/01/2009
it's still a euro 4 class and the same car why would it be more tax?
