Guinness world Records
« on: March 31, 2010, 06:57:58 am »
just in case this may get national :-\ I am going to say first back in 1995 I took my very first world record on TV BBC record breakers, back then it was done with a sponge and a squeegee,no one cleans this way ,the first thing that got changed was the T bar and squeegee as I and the guinness with the federation
changed the rules so this was done correctly,

now I have bee emailed by the son of the person who I beat back in 1995 on TV BBC Record Breakers claiming his dad still holds this and will be trying to take me to court? I have said to him that the rules got changed and all records by cleaning the with the sponge are not valid ,

I have no idea why he waits 15 years to do this I think he thinks he is going to get a lot of Media no idea,I have told him to do what he wants as he dont have a leg to stand on that is why I am telling on here first >:(

how can he take u to court, if he is taking any one to court it is guiness people, as they are the ones who say u r the fastest not u,  his problem is with them

if he claims this can i claim i am the fastest window cleaner named darren as guiness says ur the fastest named terry   ;D ;D

the blokes either a chancer or joker,  he might be even starting his own wc business and wants the publicity

This is no wind up this guy is for real I have seen the Guinness certs but what he dont know he cant know is that the rules all got changed at that time
what I dont get is why wait some 15 years or so to bring this up baffled :-\

I know if you google my name youtube whate ever I come up all over the place that has taken years of doing what I do ,publicity is may be what he is after
lets face it if people dont know the true story behind the record it will make the Media and I would look false :-\ which as you know is not the case >:(

u should be ok, guiness should just issue a statement with the fact and that should be fine,

why not challenge him to a contest, to see if he is still the best

yes i think hes after the publicity terry, i would not worry about it, terry remember me calling you while you where getting ready to be filmed at the show, i said you should get one of these, and you said yes what is that, and you looked at the wagtail i bought at the show, it was nice meeting you, so do you think the wagtail could possibly take the record from you, as this seems to be the next update for trad w/c, whats your thoughts on that, have you tried one yet

;D ;D yes you cant use those as you must use 2 hands there ok ,daz as for that guy he was invited way back in 1996 to attend the holiday Inn in slough at the Federation show some 40 wc turned up he did not!guess who won ;D
the 2 handed method has always been done in America,I brooke the rercord doing it the way it was legal with Guinness at that time sponge and squeegee

but straight away we all agreed this is not correct lets start fresh and thats what happend all those years ago untill present day,and be rest assured I will be focusing on NEC next year big time, and watching my back ::)

He may have found his favoured, trusty old sponge after 15 years.
Just tell him " ain`t gonna be no re-match, ain`t gonna be no re-match".

This wouldn`t have happened in Roy and Norris`s day  :-[
