i have fitted them on my main superlite brush which i use each day , i got them from cleantech they are not on their website but if you give them a ring they post them out within 2 days , the main benefit is reduced water usage as well as really good flow rate for rinsing on a very low setting i use a purefreedom trolley so the less containers i have to put in my car the better only used 6 containers today

how much are they?

I would imagine that they would be better at removing the likes of bird muck then?

well Ive used them for nearly two years now,
now some of there advantages, if you use a trolley or backpack or even small van system, they reduce the amount of water used, this is good for several reasons, ie, less stress on your motor carrying less water or as my mate says he gets two days work out of his 500ltr van system, so less water needed to be produced so less waste and lower water bills.  i also find a get a better rinse with them also the fine jet is good for bird muck and rinse in of the sills, there are a few other advantages but just takes some thought not negative, they might not suit everyone but they suit many, try it for yourself

Smithy, do you use 2 or 4 jets?

i use two 1mm, and i work 3/4 time but my mate is full time it halved his water use he gets two days out of a 500ltr he works hemel way,  it will halve your water use halve the amount of production and same with waste so if you part time or full time it will be the same results

I was asking because of the very little water he used was not taking the mickey, 6 barrels is 125L of water, hence reason for asking if part time, I use about 4 times this amount per van but thats full time,

Will have to try it out, if it saves that much water it has to be worth a try  ;D

cant really say on average as my houses all range in various ways thourgh out each day but i used to use between 10-12 containers a day now i reckon i could get that down to 8 a day , In my opinion lads with van mounts use far to much water just because they can when using a trolley you are far more careful with water usage , been wfp 2 yrs now used various brushes with larger jets and have struggled with 12 containers to get a full days work done , the 1mm jets provide a far more powerful jet of water which of course means you can reduce your water usage , i paid £12.73 for 4 jets plus postage bargain

prowindow,

is that right the you use 4 jets(1mm) in your brush?

If it is 4 jets would, thought similar use to 2x2mm jets?

Not being sarcastic,  just very intrested to find out.

will have a go myself either 2 1mm jets as s.w.c
or 4x1 jets as yourself.

do you use a a supalite brush?/ is it easy enough to put jets in yourself?

thanks lee

i wouldn't recommend them, if they were not worth trying,
my mate didn't believe me at first, then after he had played about for a few weeks with them finding the best flow rate they would rinse well and save the most water, he now does two full days work out of his 500ltr van system, or as he says in some he can work even longer than before,

if the silly gits ever try to put restriction on us during any water ban( which i doubt) but these would also come into there own then too,

there a some good points to them, you just need to try it yourself.
