do any of you use a product on first cleans to make life easy when doing frames and doors ?
I just used to use pure water unless the customer had a outside tap , but when they dont rather than waste all your pure water have you found a way to make life easy ?
where theres muck theres money

I asked the question a while back and quite a few TFRd them on first cleans.  If you want you could also do the downs with Docta Power.  Ithinkits worth the investment on first cleans to use chemicals and spend twice as long.

I know I will be shot down or ignored, but

I use a mixture of washing up liquid/white vinegar and pure water (ratio 1,1,2)
and I use it on all bottom window sills and glass if really dirty.
(I even use it on bird muck on top windows, one spray on brush head)
Speeds work up on end.
I use this in a spray, and I have never, yes never left a "Residue" or "Grey Streaks" on any windows!

Wait for the insults and "what's the point of that" comments, not to mention the "We are trying to get away from using chemicals" comments
(well if this forum is the same as it was 1-2 years ago, it will)

if their really bad might be better to get up the ladder and trad them if just 1st floor run of the mill houses and charge a good price then wfp them on maintenance cleans.

if their too dodgy to do off ladders some guys just use hot soapy water(fairy)in a bucket and dip ur brush in that and scrub away with vikan sill brush then scrub/rinse with wfp.

i did a first clean the other day and charged double and felt a great deal of satisfaction as they were minging but look great after tradding them! ;)

i do think wfpolers should have full trad gear including ladders for the odd first clean especially if theres paint/putty/grit on the windows or theyve not been cleaned for years!! ;D ::) ;D.

if the windows were too dodgy to do off ladders and they needed scraping i would use mop/blade/scraper on extension pole.
