get a back pack from window cleaning warehouse, loads cheaper than a trolley and will do if your only doing a couple windows.get some 25 litre drums from carwash for nothing to put your water in,and just get a cheap pole
What it is im trade and i do the top windows my partner does the bottoms but alot of the house's around here have awkward windows to get to and im not that good with a trade pole, if there one or two windows that are awkward i will drop a leaflet if more, i tend to leave the house this means missing out on quite afew protential customers. So im trying to sell some bits and pieces i have in the loft to raise money to buy a wfp trolley system mainly to tackle these harder windows, but as i wont be using alot of water because i wont be using it full time and my partner does the bottoms, i was wondering if i collected rain water i would probably have enough for my needs untill i can afford a RO system.I know i will need a TDS tester and a pump to fill up my trolley but would i need a filter for the rain water if the tds was quite low if so what exact filter would i need.Id get a proper filter system but it's more money i dont have at the moment.
I buy my water for 3p a litre. Them cheap RO systems can cost a lot on waste water if in a hard water area. ., if you are on a water-meter
if you are only filling small amounts you could use di onlytry www.daqua.co.uk for pricesto calculate the cost of just using resin http://www.cleantech.co.uk/tdscalc.htm
Thanks very much for your help i think first im going to rig up water collectors from my house and shed and buy a tds tester and then ill know what the reading are and can go from there thank to you all.

Diverters are available from almost every hardware store.http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.jsp?isSearch=true&fh_search=diverter&x=0&y=0Here's an example.
