The ghosting is a good idea isnt it Brad  ;D ;D

Ghosting is a fantastic way to see a snapshot of your business, it can help to identify where you would benefit from an injection of effort to get additional work. I reckon it's a really useful tool.

Where is this feature & how do you use it Brad?

If you are on Vista/Windows 7 you may need to right click the WCP icon and choose Run as Administrator
Thanks

|Hi Chris
Ghosting is on the Wallplanner, where it would show just the next scheduled job in the wallplanner it not shows that but also a 'ghosted' view of every occurunce of that job in the future. I.e. If you had a job frequency set for every 2 days it would show a normal view of the next time that job was due but then it would also show a 'ghosted' view of that job every 2 days on the wallplanner.

Hi Matt
Not as yet, there is a lot of work to do on the emailing facility yet, Ian has some ideas to make it much more than just an 'email' tool. It will be coming though as we both think it will be an important feature of WCP.

Let me know what you think of the updates (all info on updates can be found at http://www.windowcleanerpro.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=7&sid=51f7131c96dff438b4bc95decbe588a3 )

It may also be worth looking at the past update information as it lists all the features added in and some may have passed people by

Hi Concept

Window Cleaner Pro V2.4 is the newest version, its less than 24 hours old but for Ian and myself it is over 7 months old! A lot of work and effort has gone into this update (Ian's coding skills mainly!)and it will provide a stepping stone to bigger and better things to come.

Hope you all like the added features, let us know what you think.

Brad

I wonder if anyone can help. My copy of WCP is not updating automatically and I cannot find a copy of the update on the WCP website. Really keen to see the updates as soon as possible.

Many thanks

Hi Welivewelearn

Try right clicking on your desktop WCP icon and then click on 'Run As Administrator'. That should load the update for you automatically.

Hi,

My screen is still too narrow for all the data.  I constantly have to scroll sideways to see it all.
Was this not due for attention on this update?

Hi Sally

It could possibly be your firewall blocking access to downloading the update so it may be worth trying standing down your firewall and then loading WCP. If that doesnt work then drop a line to me or Ian by email and we will look into it for you (Brad@windowcleanerpro.com or Ian@windowcleanerpro.com)

Screensize issues have been addressed by the inclusion of the ability to hide columns of your choice (right click on the data area and untick the colum name you wish to hide). It is impossible for us to develop the program to fit every screen size as we have users running screen from netbook size up to 20" plus, this solution is the most relevant and practical.

Hi Brad.
Congrats on the update. I'm really glad i invested with you guys because now that i'm over the 500 admin and reconciliation needs to be right.

I asked before about running on an apple you said no, but this would be good.

What deal can you offer me (or anybody else) on running it on more than one computer?

Cheers Clive

if you read the license you can run on two pc'c just not use them at the same time, but you have to apply for another key.

not sure how you would sync data, other than doing a backup on one and restoring the other each time.
Thanks that's really good info. I use a little asics which i would like to take with me in the van.I worry about this being pinched, not so much the computer but the work.

Having a usable comp at home would be a good safety net.

How do i get another key then brad, email you ?

quote from license agreement

" 4.5   Install the Software on a second computer which is under your control, provided that the Software is only used on one computer at any one time. For example, if you acquired a Single User License for business purposes and have installed the software on a single stand-alone computer, you may, for your convenience, install it on your portable or home computer so long as the software is not used on both computers concurrently. An additional activation key for this purpose can be requested from Window Cleaner Pro. If the Software is to be used on both computers at the same time, You must purchase another License."

get a refund  ;D

This term in the license agreement is for those that are transfering their data and is only for convenience. It does not mean that you can run 2 "live" copies.
