Id base my quote on £1.50 per window trade around £40 but i would be tempted to add on an extra £5 so id quote for trade £45.

Those windows would be £2-£3 each I'd say £60 maybe more depending on access, could go up to £90ish.  You would probably end up having to do them every 8 weeks as the price would be too much for a higher frequency. I reckon under an hours work by pole if done properly. I'd like to see someone do it in 20 mins for £20.

Based on the windows in view and they look reasonably clean already I would say £35 on a 5 weekly clean (house only).  Good access so could work quite fast (wfp).

However, I'm wondering if there are some windows not showing in the two photos.  If this is correct then the price would have to increase to allow.

bear in mind the fluctuation in prices is down to the areas we live in, its not that certain people are out to rip off, its just supply and demand.

there is no point in asking other window cleaners what they would charge the price has got to be up to you, what are you wanting to earn a hour window cleaning.if you are trad then apart from a bit of petrol thats about all your oveheads covered , so when you set a price for a job make sure your happy with it its not all about getting as much money as you can its only cleaning windows.

I would probably be closer to £60, however this kind of work demands a premium. Sash windows are fussy trad or wfp. A job like this as well would normally be in and out and if you have a bad outside base price your not going to want to do the in's. I have a job about 3 times bigger in and out with sash windows priced at £350.00. If you live in a house like that chances are you can afford to have the windows done properly. However as I said maybe the frequency would need to be lengthened.

Simon.

I see you are in Scotland.
I'm in southeast England.
I reckon at least some of the price differences are regional.  £35 - £40 is about right for a job like that by WFP down here IMO.  There's no doubt that some of the living costs get higher as you get further south - especially private renting and mortgage costs due to higher house prices.  Mind you, you could also get such a quotation refused down here.  I suppose where someone is with their business is also an issue.  If I were to get refused on two thirds of my quotations but get the other third I would feel OK about that whereas that would not have been the case when I had less work.
